My name is Chassidy Marie Rann. I was born and raised in Sioux City, IA. I would have to say that my passion for hair started in kindergarten! I loved using the curling iron at a young age and feathering them big old bangs! My mom has not touched my hair since! That to me is crazy! Especially since most young girls could careless what their hair looks like! I continued my hair adventures through elementary and middle school. Then the life questions of 'what do you want to be when you grow up' were needing to be pondered. Hair was like a second language and beauty school was something I knew I would love to do, but thoughts of other careers had my mind. I wanted  to do it all. "I want to go to the moon. I want to be a nurse. I want to be a teacher. I want to be a mom. I want to fly a plane. I want to own a dog ranch. I want to travel. I want to open a daycare. I want to be a receptionist. I want to work with NASA. I want to be a cowgirl. I want-I want-I want!!" I graduated West High in 2005 still not having a clue on life! 4 months past stilled not enrolled in college anywhere and with the help of family, I soon realized 'my calling' was an easier decision that what I thought. I started at LeMars Beauty College in Jan.2006. It was the longest schooling EVER!!!! Tuesday thru Saturday, until April 2007! I graduated with my head held so high that day!!!!! I felt awesome! There was nothing that I would rather be doing then this! I worked at Cost Cutters for awhile when school was over, but it just wasn't enough for me! I knew I wanted to do it on my own. Just this year I found a space that I could rent! The salon is almost exactly the way I would do my own! Cute & fun! I plan on being here for awhile! It will be nice to have a place that is not a kitchen sink! (Those of you that have stuck with me, know exactly what I am talking about! HaHa!) Opening my own shop will be on a to-do list, but not a must have for quite some time, but someday I will have it!
